Another dry week sees declining lake levels and river flows. Strong west winds are pushing water toward Steep Rock and outflow at Fairford is rising as a consequence. The current estimate of the level of Lake Manitoba – 811.40 ft — is wind-affected and uncertain. Outflow at Fairford is up to 3,637 cfs, while the inflow from the Waterhen River is down to 4,026 cfs. Flow on the Whitemud is falling back to its normal summer low, dropping to 159 cfs. Flows on the Assiniboine are also returning to their summer lows, dropping to 2,359 cfs at Holland and 2,529 cfs at Headingly. The level of Lake St. Martin is down slightly to 797.92 ft and flow on the Dauphin River is up to 2,740 cfs. Lake Winnipegosis is down to 830.67 feet. The level of the Shellmouth Reservoir up slightly to 1403.32 feet.
