Strong and shifting winds this weekend are affecting the gauge readings on Lake Manitoba, making the current estimate of the lake level – 811.62 ft – unreliable. Outflow at Fairford is down to 2,433 cfs, while the inflow from the Waterhen River is up to 4,556 cfs. Flow on the Whitemud is falling back to its normal summer low, registering 303 cfs today. Flows on the Assiniboine are also returning to their summer lows, dropping sharply to 2,783 cfs at Holland and 3,090 cfs at Headingly this week. The level of Lake St. Martin is up slightly to 798.22 ft and flow on the Dauphin River is down to 2,627 cfs. Lake Winnipegosis is up to 831.56 feet, a reading that is wind-affected. The level of the Shellmouth Reservoir up this week to 1403.28 feet.
