Friends report people checking out properties in the Stonewall area. Late at night residents responded to noise from outside. By the time they checked the first night there were no signs of vandalism or strangers.
The next night resulted in a report filed with the RCMP. In this incident some persons were pounding on windows and doors. They were able to see shapes of people by their house. They turned on lights and called a relative to drive over to scare the strangers away. As you might imagine, the children and owners were traumatized by the incident.
Though this was not in our immediate community, this notice is a reminder to take precautions with outdoor sheds and doors to your home.
