STATE OF LOCAL EMERGENCY REMAINS IN EFFECT

Lake Level at 817.41

 

Mandatory Evacuation still in effect.
Johnson Beach – Open to all traffic
Carp – 4 Wheel Drive Only
Pioneer Resort – 4 Wheel Drive Only
Laurentia Beach South – 4 Wheel Drive Only

ALL OTHER AREAS CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WINDS , LAKE LEVEL AND ROAD CONDITIONS.
* Access will be reassessed daily.

With the financial aid and expertise from the Province 10 km of diking has begun in the Rural Municipality of St. Laurent. The mapping of dikes can be viewed at the R.M. of St. Laurent Office. Access is not cut off from areas, although periodically access may be disrupted.

There will be no access to boat launching due to safety concerns. RCMP patrolling the lake by boat.

If you have had a negative water sample test result, please boil your water prior to use until such time your well has been shocked and re-tested.
