Lake Manitoba update: Nov. 24, 2019

We are now approaching the winter doldrums where little is changing. Lake Manitoba is sitting at 811.53 feet this morning, almost unchanged from last week. Inflow on the Waterhen River is uncertain with the effects of ice: the gauge is reading 4,873 cfs this morning. Inflow on the Whitemud River remains very low at 133 cfs. Outflow at Fairford is currently 2,695 cfs, up slightly from last week. Lake Winnipegosis is sitting at 830.58 feet this morning, remaining near its long-term average level for this time of year.
