The RM of St Laurent has awarded a tender to R2G2 contractors to begin demolition work at Twin probably on Monday or Tuesday. Be prepared for a short response time when notified by the municipality as my understanding is that an owner or designate is preferred to be on site during the demolition. It is up to the property owner to salvage whatever is deemed important.
Please note that these will only take place after the Province offers homeowners a settlement cheque and after the RM has contacted you with details re time, date. For further information you may want to contact the RM office at 204-646-2259.
